The final practical part of the design to sell project was to make a trailer. I feel as if this went a lot better than the actual film, as a trailer doesn’t necessarily have to contain a straight linear narrative. A trailer can showcase as much or as little of the film as you want. In our case, we edited a few scenes together along with some key information such as the title of the film and the people involved in the production of it.
Due to our already limited amount of acceptable footage, we made the executive decision to make our trailer a teaser trailer, which are usually a lot shorter and give a lot less information.
I enjoyed the process of making the trailer, however I wish we had more time reshoot footage, as I believe I could’ve produced a much better film and trailer if we could’ve done so.
